Evollve RAPM & Advanced Stats (Teach-Only)
Hard rule for Volleyball Directory: we teach how to read third-party advanced boards. We do not invent RAPM, scrape Evollve leaderboards into our CSVs, or republish their ranks as ours.

What RAPM is trying to say
RAPM (Regularized Adjusted Plus-Minus), in Evollve’s framing, asks roughly:
When she’s on the court, how much does her team’s chance of winning a point rise versus an average D1 player, after accounting for teammates and opponents?
It is an all-in-one impact lens. Liberos, setters, and passers who barely touch Hit% can still rank highly. It needs play-by-play / lineup context we do not have in ncaa.com box CSVs — so RAPM stays third-party only.

These are Evollve’s model. Do not treat Volleyball Directory Hit%/Kill% as “adjusted.”
Harper Murray — lens difference (public Evollve board)

On Evollve’s early-2026 advanced board, Harper Murray (OH, Nebraska) has appeared #1 in RAPM (about +1.73 on the public table we reviewed) while her SOS-adjusted Hit% sat in a more modest neighborhood (~.185 on that board) — nowhere near a traditional “Hit% queen” story.
Teaching point: raw or even adjusted Hit% can look “only good” while an on/off point-impact model ranks her among the most valuable players on the floor. Box termination efficiency ≠ all-in-one impact.
Compare that to our counting-stat Daily Desk (kills, Hit%, kill share, PTS) — complementary lenses, not substitutes.
