Methodology
- Ingest (
scripts/ingest_stats.py) scrapes ncaa.com current-season individual + team leaderboards (paginated), caches raw HTML underdata/raw/YYYY-MM-DD-live/, and merges intodata/processed/. - Sidearm school pages are attempted for tracked programs; only server-rendered HTML tables are parsed. JS-walled sites are documented, not fabricated.
- stats.ncaa.org is not used (Akamai blocks from this environment).
- Prior-season calibration CSVs are not the published desk narrative.
- Movers diff against a previous CURRENT_SEASON_2026 snapshot when present.
- Form notes, tracked rankings, and matchup previews use only 2026 counting stats in this snapshot. Early-season small-sample caveats are intentional — rates move quickly with more sets.
- Advanced counting derived here: Kill% (K/TA), Err% (E/TA), PTS/PTS/S, Opp Hit%, hitting differential, assists/kills, and kill share (player K ÷ team K). These are not Evollve RAPM, not % Tm Pts Plyd, and not sideout%/FBSO.
- Side-out % and point-scoring % are computed separately from ncaa.com play-by-play — see Side-out % vs Point-scoring %. Service errors (SE) and RAPM remain teach-only.
